P.L.A.N.T.
PLANT is a support group formed to allow parents to support and encourage other parents as they plant the seeds of guidance for their children. Much like a tree, the root system is what ensures health and growth. For children, positive parenting provides a child’s root structure.
PLANT will provide an opportunity to share the challenges and successes of parenting in today’s world, with a common desire to learn positive parenting techniques from each other.
Although the group will be largely self-directed, the facilitators will provide information on many topics including:
♦Child Development
♦Child Safety
♦Power Struggles – such as mealtime or bedtime
♦Nurturing Routines
♦Sibling Rivalry
♦Discipline
♦Potty Training
FREE childcare and snacks are provided!
